Announcement

WARMER WEATHER  To ALL Members:- As we move into Summer nights and warmer weather, please continue to wear appropriate footwear in our halls.  No heels, flip flops, crocs or backless shoes.  Footwear should be sturdy and preferably have a rubber sole.  Clothing should be appropriate for our activities.  No floaty long materials that could become a trip hazard when bending or moving around .  Layers are best as you can remove them if you become too warm. Both halls have doors and windows that can be opened to allow a nice breeze and flow of fresh air through.   However, should we need to open the doors, ALL training exercises will be ON lead for safety reasons (you may wish to keep a training line to use in your club bag).  The Halls are set to a temperature which is out of our control and the fan heaters/air con can be used but, this can become noisy and sometimes upsets the dogs. Please feel free to bring cooling mats or extra water for your dog as required!  Don't forget a drink for yourself to keep hydrated as we currently cannot offer refreshments. Combined Class 2 & 3 until further notice.   Time will be 8.15pm to 8.45pm (with a bit of flexibility on the end time if the trainer requires more time due to larger numbers). Please note class 2 and class 3 will be a combined class until further notice commencing from Weds 25/2/26.  Due to a temporary shortage of trainers we have had to make a quick decision to ensure ALL classes are covered over the coming weeks.  This is a 'temporary' change and we hope to return to seperate classes in the near future. CURRENT NEWS Message from the Trainers and Committee of Central Essex Dog Training Society. Can we please ask ALL members to exit by the last right hand door, into the toilet corridor then left out of the main front door (if unsure please ask a committee member to show you).  This is required due to H & S measures now in place. PLEASE exit quickly at the end of your class. Your co-operation at this time is very much appreciated.
